We’re excited to announce a 4-part webinar series led by Ashley Soughley PT, DPT, NCS, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Neurological Clinical Specialist, and Maranda Centeno who holds a Masters in Occupational Therapy— both of whom have extensive knowledge and experience in research, evaluation and treatment of patients with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS).
Participants will learn about the pathophysiology of POTS and the autonomic nervous system, evidenced-based evaluation and treatment strategies including exercise progression and what to expect when initiating an exercise plan, blood flow/circulation support, and daily pacing strategies. Sessions will also cover cognitive and sensory challenges, sleep hygiene, energy conservation, and symptom management strategies to implement for optimal participation in daily life, school and work.
This series is designed for patients, caregivers, clinicians, physicians and anyone who is interested in learning practical, science-backed tools for improving function and quality of life with POTS. No medical background necessary!
